About This Place

Located in the vibrant heart of Flushing, NY, K-Munchies is a dynamic culinary hotspot celebrating the best of both Korean and American comfort foods. This unique fusion restaurant artfully marries the bold flavors of Korean cuisine with classic American favorites, creating an irresistible menu that caters to adventurous foodies and late-night cravings alike.

Step into K-Munchies and you’re immediately greeted by the enticing aromas of crispy, golden fried chicken and freshly made Korean-style corn dogs. Their Golden Fried Chicken, perfectly double-fried to achieve an ultra-crispy crust enveloping juicy, tender meat, is a particular standout. You can customize it with flavorful options such as spicy soy, sweet soy, or enjoy it plain for that classic golden fried goodness. The half-and-half chicken wings combo paired with crispy fries or indulgent truffle fries is a crowd favorite, delivering a perfect balance of savory heat and satisfying crunch.

The burger offerings are a testament to K-Munchies' dedication to quality and taste. The Smash Burger boasts well-seasoned, juicy beef patties smashed to perfection and packed with flavor, while the Sweet Chicken Burger—featuring their special house sauce—is celebrated by patrons for staying crispy and warm even after a long walk home. This burger, as one loyal customer Melanie Chen raved, is “the hearty meal I needed” that perfectly shuts down late-night hunger pangs.

No visit to K-Munchies is complete without sampling their signature Korean-style snacks. The Korean Corn Dogs, including inventive varieties like the Mozzarella Cheese Dog and the Potato Cheese Ball, offer a crispy, golden exterior enclosing gooey, melty cheese and savory sausage inside—each bite bursting with satisfying texture and bold seasoning. Customer Steve Kong highlighted these corn dogs as “probably the best” he's had, praising the “solid sausage and crazy crispy” batter that elevates this fun street food to a new level.

If you have a sweet tooth, K-Munchies’ selection of Korean-inspired desserts is sure to delight. Their Twist Bread and Red Bean Doughnut bring a comforting chewiness from sweet rice flour dough, with just the right touch of sugar. The Sweet Potato Balls and Fried Oreos are perfect guilty pleasures, delivering crispy exteriors with soft, flavorful centers. Regulars, like Yun Bae, appreciate the freshness and warmth, encouraging everyone to try these treats hot from the kitchen.

K-Munchies also shines in group settings. Whether for casual dinners or events, their catering is a hit—with wings that elicit enthusiastic “chef’s kiss” remarks and skewers that disappear fast. Cindy Lu’s experience ordering for her child’s birthday showed not only the food’s crowd-pleasing quality but also the attentive, friendly service from owner Yoon, who goes above and beyond to ensure orders meet every expectation.

More than just a restaurant, K-Munchies is a hidden gem on Northern Boulevard, offering a warm, casual atmosphere that invites patrons to indulge in comforting, crave-worthy dishes without the fuss. The affordability and high quality resonate strongly with locals like Munirul Islam, who praises the spot as “exceptional” and “very affordable” while highlighting the courteous hospitality that makes the dining experience memorable.

For those seeking a flavorful journey through Korean-American fusion—whether it’s late-night bites, satisfying wings, or delightful desserts—K-Munchies is a must-visit destination that promises warmth, bold flavors, and genuine care in every meal.

Omg. That sweet chicken burger with their special sauce was amazing. I walked in the 60 degree weather for 30 mins and the chicken was still crispy and warm when I arrived home. It was almost 11 PM at night and this was just the hearty meal I needed. I had to tell my friends how good this burger was. It’s open late and perfect for my late night cravings. Please never close down. I will be back.

I had a corndog from here like 2 years ago. It was an ok corndog. I tried the corndog again recently, and it blew me away. Crazy improvement. Big Fan. Crazy enough, it's probably the best corndog I've had. Solid sausage and crazy crispy, and i love me a solid sausage.

Ordered catering here for my kid's 1st birthday. Obviously the food was for the adults, but it totally hit the spot. The wings are BANGIN *chefs kiss* and everyone at the party commented on how good they were. The k-skewers were also super yummy. Great munchies for sure. I was working with Yoon to get all the details of the order and he was super easy to work with. He also threw in a bunch of extras if you're looking for some grub for your next gathering, def recommend hitting up K-Munchies!

This burger spot is a hidden gem on Northern Boulevard. VERY affordable burger (smash burger and chicken sandwich were $5) and the quality is top notch - great quality beef and well-seasoned chicken. The man who owns it was extremely courteous and respectful, which made this hole-in-the-wall experience exceptional. I'd 110% recommend going here!

It was my first time coming here and I left completely satisfied. I had the double smash burger + 10 sweet K wings. The burger was perfect to say the least. It was juicy, saucy, flavorful and not too heavy on the stomach. The wings were crispy and full of flavor, maybe too sweet for some. But perfect for me. Overall, I honestly have no complaints about this place. The servers were also friendly and made you feel comfortable, I will be back.

I don't normally give 5 stars but this place deservies it all. The spicy chicken sandwich is heads above all the other chains in the area. I wouldnt classify it as a cheap eat, but for fast food it definitely is cheaper than your every day burger joint. Keep doing what you're doing

If you are seeking old-fashioned, authentic Korean street foods, look no further. This little gem in Flushing bangs out Korean street foods like none other. They are so authentic and brings me back to the countryside Korea of 1980s. There is no secret. This place is run by 2 Korean seniors. So they exactly know how each food items is supposed to taste. That twisted bread with cinnamon is exactly how it tasted in Korea 30-40 years ago. Yes, this place looks almost like a hole in the wall place and there’s nothing significant to mention about the vibe. But that 1980 authentic Korean flavors, coupled with 8282 pricing during lunch hours, demand second and third visit.
